FAQ

How do i safely fill my vessel with my loved-one or pets ashes? We supply you with a paper funnel to allow you to easily and safely transfer the ashes from your temporary storage solution. We understand the ashes are very personal to you and we want to safeguard the transferral of them without spillages. Alternatively your crematorium can do this for you. We also provide a cotton bag that can be placed inside of the Urns, filled with ashes and then tied. This allows you to not have to permanently secure the lid in the event you need to access the ashes at a later date.
-
Is the lid secure on your Urns? The oak lid is hand-turned so we recommend that you use a bead of superglue or better still a 2 part epoxy glue around the top of the vessel then simply sit the lid on top. This will secure the ashes inside permanently.
-
How do i personalise the Urn?At checkout you will be prompted for up to 60 characters for you own personal engraving, which we produce in-house. Please choose from one of the 8 fonts within the product images and kindly let us know which number font you would like us to engrave with.
-
Sizing & volume? All of our urns will state in the description the volume of ashes they will hold. These are always 'pre-cremation weight' in terms of the overall volume, rather than the weight of the ashes themselves.
-
Care instructions? It is best to keep the urns indoors and away from water. Clean simply with a duster, no detergent or cleaning fluids. The tea-light lids are designed to be removed for cleaning once in a while of the excess wax.
